During my time at High Alpha, I led product strategy and 0-to-1 design execution across five new B2B startups and supported three additional companies the Studio invested in. I worked closely with founders, execs, and engineers to move fast without compromising quality—translating early-stage vision into real, high-impact products that aligned with each company’s goals and constraints.
Beyond product work, I helped shape the Designer in Residence program, building structure and mentorship to set designers up for success as they embedded into new ventures. I also introduced internal design practices that streamlined collaboration helping the design org scale alongside the Studio’s ambitious pace.
Working in a venture studio meant moving fast, but I quickly learned that speed only matters if you're building the right thing.
I saw how intentional systems and mentorship can lift an entire team—and I left with a deeper appreciation for building design orgs that grow with the business.
